"Your number isn't real, it's Google voice, why are you using it?"

Why do you think bonehead?  I never give out my real number.  DUH!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a guy from Plenty of Fish (POF).  He sent me a message first and then the dance began.  Unfortunately I didn't think quick enough to screen shot the conversation from the POF messages but there really wasn't anything there.  When they block you, you messages disappear.  But I did screen shot his profile, so if you are on POF and see him, he's a scammer.   And here is the short conversation.  What a bonehead. NEVER SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW!

"I'm a military man currently working in Afghanistan" Really??????

I'll just tell you right now this is one of the most boring conversations and it wasn't going anywhere.  So I threw in the pictures from the reversee app.  Plus some pictures used by another dude previously.  The breakup at the end was good.  Typical.  But boys these guys cuss.  LOL!!! Don't say I didn't warn you that it was a boring conversation.  :)

"Why would you think I'm from Germany? Why are you from Nigeria? LOL"

Yep, he must have gotten me mixed up with his other babes he's trying to scam.  But he has a potty mouth.  Read on. And of course he blocked me.  Poor me.  NOT!!!  LOL!!!! NEVER SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW!!

Scammers are taking advantage of fears around the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

Scammers are taking advantage of fears around the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Be alert for fake websites that sell bogus products, phishing emails pretending to be from the World Health Organization (WHO) or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and emails and social media posts related to awareness and prevention tips or donations for victims. A few tips to stay safe include: Go directly to reliable sources, such as the CDC or WHO website, for information. Verify emails are legitimate before clicking links or opening attachments. Ignore online offers for vaccinations, prevention, or treatments. Only donate to reputable, known charities and research charities and crowdfunding sites before donating. https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2020/02/coronavirus-scammers-follow-headlines
