Well, now there is a new scam going on (I believe).I am still investigating.This has nothing to do with a dating site.My daughter and I are toying with the idea of possibly moving into a bigger place.We drove around and also checked craigslist.
I am just going to copy the email and let you read it, then I’ll offer my thoughts and what I am doing about this.
Thanks for your email, I personally own the house, I want my property to be well taken good care of, and there are some rules and regulation in which I do give out to tenant willing to rent my house so please don't disrespect my order, But if you are still capable of renting my house the rules and regulation goes this way, You must keep my house clean including the surrounding, you must know the way in which you use the stove so as to avoid fire outbreak,you must not disturb the neighbor. I decided to rent out the property due to my transfer to (Tennessee), with the World Forum Foundation's to promote an on-going global exchange of ideas on the delivery of quality services for young children in diverse settings, so we are renting it out since we need someone to take good care of the property on our absent. Don't be surprise if you find the home with another site and deference price, I have plan to rent it through Real estate before, but they are not serious simply because they have a lot of house to lease out And they added some money to the rent while there commission is not fair.
Have this in mind you must know the kind of person that I'm nevertheless I am giving you this rules because of what corresponded between me and my last tenant. the keys and documents are with us here in (Tennessee). So I will need to ship them to you before you can occupy the house But you can drive by the house any time to take a look at the area and surrounding, You can also peek through the windows if you don't mind.For now we are looking for 3 or 4 years lease or rather lets us know how long you wish to stay.

I guess since I’ve been doing the dating sites, my keen sense of something is not right is very high right.
· First off, the language is terrible (1st red flag)
· Secondly, why would I send a check for a place that I haven’t been inside or met with the owner.
· As always, I look the house up on the City of St. Louis owner listings. Guess what, Williams Flowers doesn’t own the building.
So I emailed the Alderwoman for this area and she responded back right away. Here is what she wrote:
Let me see what I can find out about this from the Recorder of Deed's office. I do know these scams happen so you are smart to tread lightly.
I am anxious to see what she finds out. Now this property wasn’t listed on Craigslist. I posted in the area where you can what you are looking for so he contacted me. Tonight when I got on Craigslist, the house was listed. But it only had 2 pictures. It was the house I saw pictures of. (And drove by on my lunch today).
So I thought okay, move on. I emailed him back and said I live in the county and wanted to stay there. I didn’t zing him like I would a guy from the dating sites.
Now – her comes another one:
When I got home from work and looked at craigslist I saw a house that sounded good but didn’t have pictures. Which makes me suspicious. So emailed and asked for pictures. And now, here is this email:

Well right away I checked the ownership of the house and guess what? She doesn’t own it. So I emailed that alderwoman. I don’t expect to hear from her till next week. I haven’t responded back to the person who emailed me.
I’m starting to feel like a scammer magnet. Not sure that’s the right way to phrase it. But I am seriously thinking about going into the detective business. Dating is hard enough now this? LOL!! You have to laugh. I know God has a plan for everyone. Maybe mine is to catch scammers.
